Praise the name of Jesus!

Faith can be duplicated, demonstrated, get dilapidated but should never get outdated. Faith activates our movement throughout the Body of Christ. Think about it, we can not physically touch or see Jesus so our communication with him is based on our faith. Even if we could touch him physically, our results would still be based on our faith.

The redeemed are the purchased possession of God through the eternal one time only sacrificial transaction of Jesus on the cross. Many do not fully understand and truly comprehend the word, “redeemed”. Those of us who are Believers, were purchased from the bondage of the enemy, satan. The devil owned you since Adam, and had full rights to do as he please with your life. His job was and is to steal, kill and destroy you, by any means necessary. (John 10:10). He wants to keep you in whatever trap or cell that he has devised especially for you, so that you can never come to the understanding and realization of the truth. Read more

A few years ago, I came across the following acronym, Pray Until Something Happens (P.U.S.H.). I keep the same sticky note I wrote it on next to my desk area. The stickiness has left the back, but scotch tape still keeps it in view. I started to wonder about a popular question that comes up quite often during bible study.

How often should one pray to God about a specific situation? Do you pray one time and leave it alone? Can you continue praying about the same situation over and over again? If you do, are you showing a lack of faith? I think when folks read the following verse it bothers them whether or not it applies to them. Read more
