Submission: For obvious reasons this is the word women don’t like to hear. Possibly because there are so many negative connotations associated with the word. Mostly because there is not always a clear understanding of what the word really means.

The Jealousy of Barrenness

bdewitt_th_thumb_thumb THE JEALOUSY OF BARRENNESS
by Becky DeWitt

Recently, after several observations, I began to really notice that a spirit of jealousy was moving through the Body of Christ. For several weeks, there was a struggle within for the title. Was it the Jealousy of Barrenness or the Barrenness of Jealousy? Either way, there was much to be revealed, to be exposed, and to learn.

And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour” (Matthew 9:20-22, NKJV).

You can be enveloped in seemingly the worse crisis of your life. As the walls come crashing in, you desperately seek the arrows of an exit sign, but none exist. The doors are shut and the lights dim into cavernous obscurity. There is nowhere to run, and not a daydream to escape into. There are no sheets to tie together to make that all-important jailbreak. The proverbial shovel and pick ax cannot be found, and the barriers around you have become impenetrable. You slump down in a corner, ready to give up on every idea and thought that has crusted the fibers of your spirit.

Searching for the Body Beautiful
By Jacqueline Moore

компютриDraw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up” (James 4:8-10, NKJV).

What is it that you are looking for? You toss to and fro feverishly in your bed at night. Your bed sheets are saturated with salt water that pours from every orifice. Night sweats accompany you with the unwelcome presence of insecurity and nervousness. The sleep aid you took has rendered your body into a drug-induced indolence, yet you cannot take a rest. Your spirit begins to bawl uncontrollably, and your soul begins to screech mercilessly. Something is chasing you. You keep running, but your legs have given up. You cannot take another step. You crumble to your knees with the intent of drowning in a pool of obscurity. And a teardrop rolls down your cheek.
