Prayer Changes Children

“That ye shall call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I shall hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.-Jeremiah 29:12-12”
We often find ourselves in situations of hopelessness when our children have chosen the wrong friends, wrong places to go and wrong things to do. As parents and caregivers, the ultimate approach to finding help is to ask someone who can be a good listener and problem solver. It is also advisable to do our homework and be careful who we ask. If there is a parent you know who is presently having problems with raising their own children, this person would not be a candidate to assist you in your dilemma! It’s really easy from the standpoint of a reader to judge the characters. If you read quite a bit of fiction or even find yourself engrossed in an exciting television series like Heroes or CSI, you might find yourself judging from afar. Why did the character do that? What was their motivation?

Parental involvement is the best predictor of a student’s educational achievement. Parental involvement demonstrates to your child the importance of school, resulting in improved student attitudes, moral, and academic achievement. Parents’ active interest also results in increased attendance, lower dropout rates, fewer discipline problems, and higher aspirations in life. Children who have been supported this way throughout their education are also more likely to consult with parents when making educational decisions.
