Sharon Oliver is originally from the Maryland/DC area.  Although having lived in Charlotte, NC and Columbia, SC, the author has made the Atlanta area her home for the past 15 years.  She’s worked for various federal government agencies over the years as a Systems Administrator, but felt a strong desire to do something else in life.  In 2003, the desire became a call to write and she penned her first novel, Keep Your Enemies Closer, which was published in July 2008. ABOUT THE BOOK

Deliver Me From My Enemies deals with subject matters that go on behind closed doors.  The protagonist, Charlotte Morley, receives a series of letters from her jailed aunt, Ramiyah.  Everyone easily assumes Ramiyah’s motive for killing her husband stemmed from abuse, including being subjected to wife swapping.

However, it is soon discovered the real reason is rooted deep beneath the family tree.  Adding humor to the mix is the tart-tongued-tell-it-like-it-is Miss Sista.  Also, joining the eclectic cast of characters is Miss Sista’s son, Hiawatha Jones, and he has a few issues of his own.
